Notice on the 2025 Smart Agriculture Innovation Conference

To further promote international exchange and cooperation in smart agriculture, the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, part of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), together with the Foreign Economic Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, will jointly host the 2025 Smart Agriculture Innovation Conference on Nov 6, at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

Themed "Digital Intelligence Empowerment and Integrated Innovation", the conference will feature keynote speeches, thematic sessions, and product exhibitions. It aims to exchange the latest research progress, share application cases and practical experiences, explore new innovations and opportunities in smart agriculture, and promote the development and implementation of smart agriculture in China, thereby supporting the national strategies for rural revitalization and agricultural modernization.

IV. Conference Program

Opening Ceremony and Keynote Forum

The opening session will include welcoming remarks, keynote speeches by government leaders and academicians, and the award ceremony for the Guangxi Smart Agriculture Competition.

Smart Agriculture Industry Innovation Forum

This forum will focus on key sectors across the smart agriculture industrial chain. Experts from government agencies, enterprises, and research institutions will present technological innovations, share best practices in agricultural informatization, and discuss models for strengthening cooperation among industry, academia, and research.

VII. Invited Leaders and Guests

The conference expects approximately 300 participants, including 28 international guests from ASEAN member countries, embassies in China, and international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP), as well as smart agriculture experts from countries such as Japan and the Netherlands, and representatives of foreign agricultural enterprises operating in China.

Chinese participants will include representatives from MARA, key provincial and municipal agricultural departments, research institutes, and leading agri-tech enterprises.
