Party Committee Office

Responsible for the overall Party-building, discipline inspection and supervision work, together with daily work of the institute's Party committee in terms of organization, publicity, and disciplinary inspection affairs.

1. To publicize and implement the Party's work lines, guiding principles and policies, make the resolutions of higher-level Party organizations and the institute's Party committee known, formulate annual work plans and proposals, submit summary reports, and organize the completion of various tasks undertaken by the institute.

2. To be responsible for the organization of quarterly study sessions of the institute-level theoretical study group, annual special democratic life meetings and organizational life meetings for the institute-level leadership. To undertake democratic judgment and appraisals of Party members, guide Party branches in the organization of political theory studies. To supervise the completion of theoretical study papers by institute-level officials and play a leading role in the organization of rectification tasks concerning democratic life meeting.

3. To make preparations and take notes of the meetings of the institute's Party committee, draft meeting minutes and resolutions, supervise and implement meeting decisions and resolutions. To be responsible for the processing, operation and management of official documents and seals of the institute's Party committee.

4. To assist the institute's Party committee in the management of Party branches, the education, management, service, and development of Party members. To be responsible for the collection and management of Party membership fees throughout the institute and such daily work as statistical reports about Party affairs and the supervision of the implementation of the "three meetings and one lesson" system in Party branches. To undertake the assistance of disadvantaged Party members and other faculty members, and make arrangements for institute leadership to visit and offer condolences to disadvantaged Party members and other employees.

5. To make preparations and take notes of the meetings of the institute's Discipline Inspection Commission, draft meeting minutes and resolutions, supervise and implement meeting decisions and resolutions. To be responsible for the processing, operation, and management of official documents and seals of the institute's Discipline Inspection Commission.

6. To be responsible for the registration, processing, investigation and verification of public letters and visits as well as letters transferred by the institute's supervision agency. To support the rectification work of problems and questions found by higher-level discipline inspection authorities, and guide other functional departments in the formulation of internal control systems.

7. To take the lead in the implementation of the Eight Rules of the CPC Central Committee on improving Party and government conduct, and the work on improving Party conduct. To act on accountability system for improving Party and government conduct, organize the signing of relevant papers of pledge, strengthen education and publicity work on building a clean Party and government. To be responsible for daily work of the institute's discipline inspection commission and supervision agencies.

8. To be responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of the Party-building and discipline inspection management information system, and completion of other tasks assigned by higher authorities, the institute's Party committee, and discipline inspection commission.

9. To be responsible for ethical-advancement work and innovative cultural construction, the implementation of requirements for the building of a civilized unit and various review work. To undertake the planning and design of cultural symbols, the use and management of innovative cultural products within the institute.

10. To be responsible for the management of united front work and mass organizations. To undertake the inspection and guidance for the work relating to the institute's assembly, trade union, the Communist Youth League branch, the Youth League Committee, the working committee on women, and non-Communist parties.
