Zhang Jizong

Zhang Jizong, born in February 1976 in Lushan county, Henan province, is a member of the Communist Party of China and a research fellow. Zhang graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences with a doctorate in agronomy in July 2006. Zhang is currently the Deputy Director General of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP) of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). Zhang’s main research areas are fertilization and environment, and optimization of farmland planting patterns.
